HIRE ME AS YOUR

SECOND & ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER

I would love to support you.

Meet the Artist behind the lens

A Black woman with glasses and earrings, wearing a blazer and zebra print dress, stands outdoors with trees in the background, looking down thoughtfully.

Welcome — I’m Bilgah, a wedding and bridal fashion photographer blending emotional respect with editorial structure.

Before photography, I spent over a decade as a bridal hairstylist, working exclusively with brides and their loved ones. That experience sharpened my attentiveness, discernment, and standard of care, qualities that continue to shape how I move on a wedding day.

I understand pace. I understand pressure, and I understand what it means to support the person leading the room.

My role is simple: strengthen your coverage, protect your timeline, and make you look even better.

1. My Personal Aesthetic

Refined. Intentional. Structured.

I’m drawn to clean composition, controlled natural light, and often missed moments. I notice posture, negative space, fabric movement, and the in-between exchanges that feel honest without being chaotic.

My work leans editorial in structure but remains grounded in reality. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels careless.

Even when I’m shooting candidly, there is discipline behind it.

2. The Content I Deliver

When second shooting, I prioritize coverage that strengthens your gallery:

  • Groom prep and tailored details

  • Parent reactions and subtle emotional moments

  • Cocktail hour candids with intention

  • Guest interactions

  • Alternate ceremony angles

  • Reception atmosphere, movement, and depth

  • Clean, usable detail images

  • Backup coverage during portraits

I shoot with awareness of your framing, focal lengths, and overall visual direction. My goal is cohesion, not contrast.

You won’t receive random filler images. You’ll receive purposeful coverage that supports the story you’re telling.

3. How I Exceed Expectations

I ANTICIPATE:
Years as a bridal hairstylist taught me how to read a room before it shifts. I know when something meaningful is about to happen, and I’m already positioned.

I HONOR THE TIMELINE:
I move efficiently, without drawing attention. I don’t need managing.

I RESPECT YOU
This is your client. Your brand. Your direction. I am here to elevate it.

I DELIVER CLEAN FILES
Proper exposure. Intentional framing. Strong composition. Minimal culling headaches.

I UNDERSTAND HIGH-TOUCH ENVIRONMENTS
High-end venues, complex family dynamics, tight timelines, I operate with composure and discretion.

I make your day easier.

WHY I’M A STRONG SECOND

Because I’ve been in the wedding space for over a decade.

I understand that support is an art.
I understand that leadership requires backup…and I know how to stay sharp without being loud and present with respect.

If you’re looking for someone steady, capable, and visually aligned, I’d love to work alongside you.
